Geology Explorer Programming Manual

Why hello, If you are reading this, you have been relegated to performing programming duties in the Geology Explorer, and one of your supervisors has suggested that this is the first and foremost reference in the field of Oitan programming. If you have come here for that purpose, you are sure to be disappointed. Probably the best reference for Oitan programming is the LambdaMOO programming manual. This manual assumes you have read that manual and understand it fairly certainly.

The purpose of this manual is to describe the functions, give tips, and define terms that may be unfamiliar to people who may have programmed in LambdaMOO before, but are new to the Geology Explorer. You will find a very large amount of information from how tutors function, adding new tutors, how modules and goal work and can be added, changed, and removed. You will also find definitions of terms from outcrops to hotzones to dynamic web pages.

Special thanks to (in no particular order): Pavel Curtis (for LambdaMOO!), Otto Borchert, Guy Hokanson, Nathan Green, Dr. Brian Slator, and Bob Cosmano for their contributions to the Geology Explorer Programming Manual! If you have a tip, definition, or functionality that you think would go in this manual, and you want worldwide fame and glory by being included in this list, submit your suggestion to Otto Borchert, the present maintainer of the manual.
